What is the difference between Aldine Education Foundation and Aldine Scholarship Fund?
Aldine Education Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to support Aldine ISD. The Aldine Scholarship Fund is now part of Lone Star College Foundation. Gifts to Aldine Education Foundation can support: (1) the Aldine Scholarship Fund toward scholarships for students to attend only Lone Star College; AND/OR (2) AEF scholarships for students to attend the college of their choice.

Yes. During the year simply send an E-mail to Theresa Almendarez in payroll confirming that you wish to change your donation amount. Or make that change yourself in ePortal.

Yes. Send an E-mail to Theresa Almendarez in payroll confirming that you wish to discontinue payroll deductions to Aldine Education Foundation. Or cancel your enrollment in ePortal.
Will my contributions automatically continue until I decide to discontinue them, or will I need to enroll each year?
Deductions will continue until employees notify Payroll to discontinue deductions for Aldine Education Foundation or Aldine Scholarship Fund. New employees or employees who chose not to donate now will have the option to enroll at any time during the school year.
Are payroll deductions to this campaign tax-exempt?
Yes, contributions to this campaign via payroll deduction are tax-exempt donations. Please use documentation on your paystub for your records.
What if I am already donating to Aldine Scholarship Fund through payroll deductions?
Your current donations will continue until you email any requested changes or discontinuation. This campaign offers opportunities for employees who are not donating through the payroll deduction plan to begin donating to support scholarships and classroom grants.
