Attention, 2022 Aldine ISD high school seniors! Scholarship Applications will open soon for the Spring 2022 awards.

Student Programs

There are two programs that offer competitive scholarship awards to Aldine ISD graduating seniors. Students can apply to both scholarship programs but can receive an award from only one program. Awards will be announced in April 2022.

Aldine Education Foundation Scholarships

Each year, Aldine Education Foundation (AEF) awards scholarships to graduating Aldine ISD seniors to attend the college of their choice. In 2021, we awarded 197 AEF scholarships totaling $541,500! 

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be graduating seniors of a high school within Aldine ISD in Houston, TX during the 2021-2022 school year.
  • Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (collegiate GPA).
  • Applicants must plan to attend an accredited college, university, community college, or technical/trade school.

All applications must be completed through our online system. Further instructions and requirements are detailed throughout the application. Read each question THOROUGHLY and answer to the best of your ability. These are COMPETITIVE applications with limited funding – do your best and follow all instructions!

Lone Star College Foundation Scholarships for Aldine ISD

Aldine Education Foundation partners with Lone Star College Foundation to award scholarships through the Lone Star College Foundation Scholarships for Aldine ISD (LSCF/AISD). These are $1,000 scholarships to aid Aldine students in attending the Lone Star College campus of their choice. In 2021, Lone Star College Foundation Scholarships for Aldine ISD expects to make 103 awards.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be graduating seniors of a high school within Aldine ISD in Houston, TX during the 2021-2022 school year.
  • Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale (collegiate GPA).
  • Applicants for the 2021 Lone Star College Foundation Scholarships for Aldine ISD must pursue an Associate Degree or Certificate at a Lone Star College campus. These funds can only be used at a Lone Star College campus.
  • Applicants are required to meet with their high school counselor to discuss this scholarship program. The application requires documentation of this meeting by completing, scanning, and uploading this form:  Scholarship Program Counseling Confirmation.
