Aldine Education Foundation raises funds through events, an employee giving campaign, an annual appeal, and by working directly with interested community members. To strengthen student success in Aldine ISD classrooms and beyond, AEF delivers the following programs:
scholarships.
- Since 2012, AEF has awarded millions of dollars in scholarships to Aldine ISD seniors.
- In partnership with Lone Star College, the Foundation helps students attend any of its six campuses, while also funding scholarships to colleges and universities nationwide.
- Endowed Scholarships (34 and growing as of 2018) ensure lasting support for generations of Aldine graduates.

- Teachers apply annually for grants to fund creative classroom projects that would not exist without supplemental support.
- By 2018, AEF had awarded nearly $160,000 in teaching grants impacting thousands of students.

- AEF recognizes excellence through awards for Campus Teachers of the Year, District Teachers of the Year, and since 2018, Principals of the Year.
foundation scholars.
AEF also celebrates the academic excellence of high school students across Aldine ISD. Students receiving grades of 95 or higher in all courses are recognized with a certificate to document this astounding achievement and scholarship funds are banked in their name, ready upon graduation.
educational excellence grants.
We assist Aldine ISD in procuring major grant funding to improve the educational process across the District. This is typically accomplished by AEF serving as a fiscal agent on behalf of Aldine ISD with private funders (such as corporations or foundations) for specified projects or programs.
additional support.
- Beyond scholarships and grants, AEF sponsors events that enrich learning across the district, such as the AISD Student Film & Photography Festival, the Technology Curriculum Conference of Aldine (TCCA), and professional development programs.
- AEF has also stepped up in times of crisis, raising $380,000 in Hurricane Harvey recovery funds to support students and staff.

While the first six years of the Aldine Education Foundation show incredible growth, the need continues.
