Our grants provide seed funding to help teachers pilot innovative projects that align with Aldine ISD’s strategic goals.
Aldine Education Foundation has a grant program to encourage and facilitate unique and creative instructional approaches to accomplish Aldine ISD strategic priorities or goals identified in Campus Improvement Plans. All proposals should be designed to meet the academic and instructional needs of students and demonstrate the potential for improved student outcomes.
Grant awards are intended to be used as seed money to fund new programs and projects rather than continuing previously funded projects. Grant requests should not be for programs or materials that are typically funded through traditional school budgets.

AEF Innovative Teaching Grants give Aldine teachers the resources to bring bold, creative ideas to life—ideas that inspire students and strengthen learning outcomes.

PLEASE NOTE
All AEF Innovative Teaching Grant applications must be submitted through our online grant application system. To be eligible to apply, applicants must be:
- A TEA Certified Educator
- A current classroom teacher in Aldine ISD
- Attend an AEF Innovative Teaching Grant Workshop

All applicants must attend a grants workshop to be eligible to apply for the AEF Innovative Teaching Grant.

Learn more about previous AEF grant awards to understand past projects; however, since this is an Innovative Teaching Grant, we encourage you to bring forward new and original ideas that move beyond prior examples.
