  • Must be a graduating senior in Aldine ISD.
  • Plan to enroll at an accredited college, university, community college, or trade/technical school.
  • Must demonstrate financial need.
    • This opportunity is to support students with a substantial need for financial assistance.
  • Have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent).

The AEF annual Scholarship Ceremony on Monday, May 6, 2025, at the M.O. Campbell Educational Center, where hundreds of students were recognized and awarded $562,000 in scholarships.

In 2023-2024, the Foundation reviewed an impressive 2,229 scholarship applications and awarded 416 scholarships. The total amount awarded also surpassed 22-23 school year’s $467,000, highlighting continued growth in community support and student opportunity.

  • Applicants must submit required documents (transcript, recommendation, FAFSA SAI, essay) by the deadline

Selections are based on academic performance (transcript), leadership & community service, quality of essay, demonstrated financial need, and other eligibility criteria.

Funds will be sent directly to the institution and can be used for tuition, required fees, and educational expenses.

The scholarship does not cover living expenses, housing, transportation, meals, or non‑educational personal costs.

  • You are notified by the award date March 27, 2026

  • Funds are disbursed to your institution starting July 15, 2026 for the upcoming academic term

  • You are invited to the annual AEF Scholarshp Awards Ceremony for recognition and community networking
