Establishing an Endowed Scholarship
Endowed scholarships are one-time awards for graduating Aldine ISD students to attend the college of their choice. These scholarships are established in perpetuity and presented annually in the name of the donor.
- A minimum initial contribution of $1,000 is required to start a named endowment.
- Donors have 7 years to fulfill a $20,000 commitment. If not met, funds transfer to the Foundation Fund.
- Endowments can be funded through direct gifts, event sponsorships, memorials, or honorariums.
- Endowments can include criteria such as GPA, financial need, area of study, or college choice.
- Donors must sign an endowment agreement outlining terms and preferences.
How to Get Started
To establish an endowed scholarship:
- Download and complete the Endowment Commitment Agreement Form
Make sure all fields are filled out accurately and the form is signed. - Prepare your initial contribution
A minimum contribution of $1,000 is required to establish a named endowment. (Payment must be submitted online.) - Submit your form and payment
Email the completed form to: [email protected] and submit your payment online via our Secure Payment Portal.- Please include the name of the endowment (as listed on your form) in the “Additional Comments” section of the payment form.
Endowment Update Request
To request a status update or check the balance of your endowed scholarship, please use the Endowment Update Request Form.
- Please allow 48 to 72 business hours for processing. You will receive confirmation once the update is complete.
